The Giants made their roster available to the media on the eve of their annual FanFest, and no, there wasn’t a surprise news conference to announce a long-term extension for Matt Cain.
The Giants certainly hope to convene such an event soon, though — perhaps even before pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 18.
