OXFORD — The class of 2012 had its most surreal recruiting moment yet on Monday, centered around Lafayette High School quarterback Jeremy Liggins.

A fire marshal began restricting access to restaurant Irie on the Square more than two hours before Liggins took the stage, the headliner of a radio/television show for local high school seniors announcing their college decisions.
