Colorado coach Jon Embree opened his signing day press conference with a sigh of relief and a dose of optimism for fans looking to the future.
"Today we got better," Embree said. "We definitely got better."
Embree announced the names of 28 players who joined the program Wednesday on national signing day. There were no surprises. Every recruit who had previously pledged to put his signature on a national letter of intent did so and faxed it to the second floor offices in the Dal Ward Center where Embree and his coaching staff waited throughout the day beginning in the early morning hours...
