Report Card Grades for Ohio State's 2012 Recruiting Class

Michael CahillCorrespondent IFebruary 2, 2012

This was a great way for Urban Meyer to start off his career at Ohio State, and it’s a great way to endear himself to the Buckeye faithful.

He’s doing the right thing and bringing in the right people.

The first thing that was noticeable was the upgrade on our defense, bringing in guys who are especially known for their speed.

It’s been Meyer’s blueprint from the start.

He wants a defense that is fast and will be able to fly to the ball. It worked wonders at Florida and it’s going to pay dividends here as well.

He’s got some nice offensive weapons too.

Bri’onte Dunn is a hell of a good athlete and one that should be able to produce big rushing numbers coming out of the Buckeyes' backfield.

Meyer is here to win titles and he’s on the right track with this class. The question is whether or not he can mold these guys into the next great college studs that we all hope they can be.
