6 Stars the WWE Must Sign in 2012

Alfred KonuwaFeatured Columnist IVJanuary 10, 2017

WrestleMania season is a time for big-name returns, as evidenced by the Undertaker's long-awaited resurfacing this past Monday on "Raw".

As the WWE still struggles to find and/or harness its next crop of "it" guys, the return of familiar faces should be a theme throughout 2012, as opposed to just during WrestleMania season.

Rob Van Dam's contract with TNA is reportedly (mercifully) up in March, and rumors have already begun swirling that the master of the five-star Frog Splash is gearing up for one last run with the Fed.

Former WWE and world heavyweight champion Batista has remained in great shape, and has said in interviews that he is open to a WWE return sometime down the road under the right circumstances.

Rumors of Brock Lesnar's imminent return to the WWE were looming while the multi-faceted thoroughbred was still under contract with the UFC, and now that he has been forced into retirement by a lethal combination of diverticulitis and knees from Alistair Overeem, is his return to the ring a safe bet?

Watch as Big Nasty and B/R video toss around a few names you may have heard of as potential signings the WWE can make to fortify its brand while they look to rebuild a roster rife with promising, young talent.
