Brady Hoke’s first ever recruiting class for the Michigan Wolverines has shaped up to be a great one. It’s a top 10 class that filled some big-time needs for the Wolverines.

Recent years in recruiting have been tough for Michigan, but Hoke is restoring them to greatness, and that is a reason to smile.

While the Wolverines lost out on some top-notch recruits, they were able to sign 25 players. Losing players to Ohio State really hurts, but all it does is intensify the rivalry and put pressure on Hoke to out-coach Urban Meyer.

The future looks very bright for Michigan, especially since the Wolverines have found a “Michigan man” in Hoke. Recruiting strong is the way to success in the college football world, and it didn’t take Hoke long to thrive in that area.

It will be interesting to see these players grow over the years and see which ones become big surprises and if they will make immediate an impact as freshmen.
