English football’s transfer deadline day has come and gone. Now that it’s over, some might say the same about Arsenal’s and Liverpool’s chances for a top-four finish.

That’s up for debate, of course, and so are both teams’ performances in this winter’s transfer window. But after just three combined signings for Arsenal and Liverpool in January, it’s unlikely that many people would rate either team’s dealings too highly.

In case you missed it, Arsenal’s one and only deadline-day signing this winter was Thomas Eisfeld, a 19-year-old reserve midfielder from German club Borussia Dortmund. They also brought back Thierry Henry in a loan deal on Jan. 6 and sent 10 players out on loan to various clubs.

Liverpool’s only winter signing came on deadline-day eve in the form of Welsh Under-19 international keeper Danny Ward. He’s headed straight to the Reds’ reserves.

How did we rate each team’s transfer dealings? You’ll have to watch to find out.
