After a blistering 12-1 start, the defending champion Connecticut Huskies have entered a tailspin. They've lost 5 of their last 7, including three straight, and suddenly find themselves tilting toward the NCAA tournament bubble.

With a month to go before the postseason, UConn (14-6 overall, 4-4 Big East) still has plenty of time to right the ship. But with four upcoming games against ranked opponents—including at No. 14 Georgetown on Wednesday and two contests against No. 2 Syracuse—Connecticut is in danger of missing the NCAA tournament one year after winning it.
