NFL Draft 2012: 4 Most Likely Teams to Trade Up

Joseph MerkelSenior Analyst IIIFebruary 1, 2012

Last year we saw the Atlanta Falcons, a team with one of the best wide receivers in the league, leap 21 spots to nab Julio Jones, the second best receiver in the draft. I don’t think many saw that one coming, and if they did it should have been in writing.

The Falcons shocked everyone on draft day, but there are some teams that we wouldn’t be at all surprised about if they decided to trade up in April.

The most likely spot for a trade-up? The Rams with the No. 2 overall pick. The Rams don’t need a young QB, but they could use a top-notch WR or OT. While Justin Blackmon and Matt Kalil will likely be available, with Robert Griffin III on the board, several teams will come calling St. Louis.

What teams are most likely to grade up on draft day? Tune in to find out.
