Blake Griffin Throws Down the Dunk of the Season over Kendrick Perkins

0 of 1

In a blowout game Monday night at the Staples Center, ending in a 112-100 Los Angeles Clippers win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Blake Griffin threw down the hammer. He only had 16 points at the time, but his dunk off a pick-and-roll from Chris Paul was simply amazing.

Not only was his dunk over Oklahoma City's Kendrick Perkins the best of the season this far, I am quite sure many media outlets will use the time machine on this one.

If you don't believe me, just check it out for yourself on the next slide.

And, yes I had the same look as Griffin does in the photo.

Dunk of the Season by Blake Griffin

Best dunk in how many years?

Is it for sure the best dunk we have seen this season?

Only a select few stand out, but this has to top the cake right now. LeBron James' dunk over somebody my size is nothing to go home and brag about, but Griffin's dunk was over a full-grown man in Kendrick Perkins.

Some argue that this isn't even a dunk, but Dwight Howard has done it in the Slam Dunk  Contest before and Griffin has done this several times in his career already.

So, grade the dunk on a scale of one to 10. Is it the best dunk you have seen in a few years with no questions asked?

Oh my lord, does he climb the ladder on this one!
