The January transfer window is nearing an end and it's always a possibility that there will be some last-minute moves.
With some teams still searching for reinforcements and others possibly looking to offload players, there could be a flurry of activity within the next few hours.
There haven't been any major moves so far during the window but some teams, like Napoli, have picked up young and exciting talents. Newcastle made a signing that could be very instrumental in their fortunes for the season.
Here are some last-minute transfer possibilities.
Thiago Motta's agent came out last week saying that the Inter midfielder would be moving to PSG before the end of the winter.
Motta's boss, Claudio Ranieri, recently stated he wants his player to stay. It may end up being a tug of war between the player and the club and there's not much time remaining for something to happen.
This move would definitely affect the aforementioned Thiago Motta deal. Just as with Thiago Motta, Fredy Guarin's agent believes a deal may be possible soon.
Guarin has not seen much playing time so far this season and would most likely welcome a move to further his career.
Manchester City may be holding out for a significant transfer fee but surely wouldn't want to wait until the summer to sell when Tevez's price would drop even more. That may give Milan an advantage.
Mauro Formica seems to already attracted a lot of attention since his move to Blackburn. With the club struggling, Formic has apparently been looking to leave during the window.
The Lancashire Telegraph recently reported that Olympiakos were short on a transfer bid but that doesn't rule out a possible move before the window closes.
According to Mirrorfootball.com, West Bromwich Albion may be interested in Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak.
The deal may start off as a loan with the possibility for a full move in the summer.
Everton may be adding some more players to its team. According to Skysports.com, David Moyes may be looking to bring the Irish striker in for some reinforcements.
According to Skysports.com, Bayer Leverkusen are open to all offers for Michael Ballack before the transfer window closes.
Ballack's contract ends in the summer and Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to receive some payment before he skips out of the club for free. Despite his age, Ballack may be in demand because of his experience.
According to ESPN.com, both Villarrea and Granada CF are interested in signing Tottenham's Giovani Dos Santos.
Dos Santos may certainly welcome a move back to Spain after having a rough couple years in North London. Both teams are in need of attacking help and it may just be a matter of who the Mexican attacker prefers.
Mark Hughes has been in search for a striker since his appointment as QPR head coach. Goal.com reports that Lazio striker Djibril Cisse is a target.
Cisse could be interested in a move back to the Premier League.
"Speaking to L’Equipe, Cisse said: “The transfer window is not finished. There are a few days. You never know what can happen.”
Joan Capdevila could be on his way back to Spain after only a couple months. According to Goal.com, Espanyol is close to an agreement with Capdevila's club, Benfica.
Capdevila started his career as an Espanyol youth product and if things move smoothly within the next few hours, he could end his career there.
This deal is basically a foregone conclusion as reported by Soccerway.com. Lucho Gonzalez's last few months in Marseille have not been very good at all and his former club look to regain his services.
This one may be official before the day is out.
Fulham has apparently appeared as the favourite to sign Lucas Barrios. According to Insidefutbol.com, Borussia Dortmund is now ready to let the Paraguayan striker go after ensuring the availability of Mohamed Zidan.
Barrios was injured earlier in the season but since his return he has not commanded the same status at the club as before with Robert Lewandowski performing well and cementing his starting position.
Lazio may just be a few hours away from tying up a deal for Keisuke Honda. According to Goal.com, Lazio is awaiting a response from Honda's club, CSKA Moscow, about a recent bid for the Japanese player.
If the club comes come into an agreement really soon then Lazio will have its man.
After a decent, if not solid, first season in Turin, Milos Krasic is seemingly out of door halfway through his second season with Juventus.
According to Tribalfootball.com, Krasic is in advanced negotiations with Zenit St. Petersburg for a January move.
Fulham may have another forward to add to its lineup during the window. SkySports.com reports that the Cottagers have made a bid for Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega.
There has been much speculation about Rodallega's future this season and it seems that Wigan are now ready to cash in on the player so as not to lose him for free in the summer.
According to Mirrorfootball.com, Bolton boss Owen Coyle may look to tempt Crystal Palace into selling Wilfried Zaha before the window closes.
Crystal Palace's management has so far stood firm to all suitors and rumours but if Bolton comes up with a good offer they may just be tempted.
Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is reportedly interested in signing Bolton striker Kevin Davies. Kevin Davies' contract expires in the summer and Botlon could be convinced to part with the player if they receive a respectable offer.
Stephen Hunt could make a move to the Scottish Premier League. According to SkySports.com, Celtic boss Neil Lennon is interested in bringing the Wolves midfielder to his club.
Wolves may take some persuading to part with one of their players with a relegation battle looming but there is always the possibility of some agreement being made.
