The final four of the Royal Rumble can shoot anyone of these men into the main event of either Raw or Smackdown. That is why these four men are currently some of the best in the WWE, and have the best chance at winning the Royal Rumble.
Cody is at his best right now. He saw his career take off in 2011, after winning the Intercontinental Title and being one of the survivors on his Survivor Series team.
Now, with the calendar flipping to 2012, he can start the year off on an even bigger note by winning the Royal Rumble. He should enter the match around the early 20’s and be a dangerous person to survive until the end.
However, this will not be the first time that Rhodes has made it to the final four of the Rumble. Back in 2009, along with Randy Orton, he made up the last four participants in the match.
If he would go on to win the over-the-top-rope match, he would make a great opponent for Daniel Bryan, should he be the World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania XXVIII.
Barrett, just like Rhodes, had a big 2011. He saw big pay-per-view victories, and matches last year that moved Barrett up the card on the Smackdown side of the roster.
As we head into the Royal Rumble, Barrett has been involved in a big feud with one of the favorites to win the match—Randy Orton. This feud has seen some epic matches like their tables match at the last pay-per-view, Tables, Ladders, and Chairs.
Barrett will be a force in the rumble, as he could eliminate a number of superstars. He could survive until the end, and possibly have a thrilling finish to the match with Orton.
Not only have we seen Ziggler wrestle twice on a pay-per-view before, but he has said that he’s upped his cardio, in case he would enter the rumble. The man who loves to showoff can make a huge statement by finishing as one of the final four men in the rumble.
Dolph should enter the rumble late, like at No. 28 or 29. He would then dump some of lesser talented wrestlers who would make up the final eight like: Sheamus, Mason Ryan or R-Truth.
Dolph then goes on to survive until the end, and then dumping someone like Randy Orton in the end to head onto WrestleMania XXVIII to face off against Punk in a rematch.
The Miz has to enter the Royal Rumble at No. 1. However, the winner of the Royal Rumble has entered at number one twice. He could then go on to to be the last man standing.
With CM Punk needing an opponent for WrestleMania XXVIII, the Miz would be a perfect challenger to Punk’s WWE Title.
Miz has proven that he can bring in big buy rates for a high profiled match, like he did at last year’s WrestleMania main event match. The WWE hasn’t had someone go the distance since Chris Benoit did in 2004. It seems this year could be the third time they pull this off.
These four wrestlers should make up the final four people in the rumble match. Anyone of these men could survive and head onto WrestleMania XXVIII.
