Royal Rumble 2012: Chris Jericho and Superstars Who Should Enter No. 2
We all know who No. 1 will be at the 2012 Royal Rumble, The Miz. However, the question is, who should be No. 2?
The second wrestler into the Royal Rumble match gets to have their full entrance in the main event of the WWE’s second biggest pay-per-view of the year. Plus, they get to put on a small one-on-one match with the person who is No. 1.
That is why someone like Chris Jericho would make for an excellent person to enter No. 2.
Jericho has said that at the Royal Rumble, “It will be the end of the world as we know it.”
However, what does that mean? Does that mean that Jericho will try to interfere in the CM Punk Dolph Ziggler match? Or, does it mean that Jericho will win the rumble and then go onto WrestleMania XXVIII in pursuit of Punk’s WWE Title?
Either way, seeing Jericho—and his light bright jacket—come into the rumble at No.2 would be great to see.
Plus, who knows, maybe instead of Jericho actually fighting Miz at the beginning of the match he will just jump around the ring for a minute or two only to eliminate himself.
Morrison entering the Royal Rumble has been heating up recently. However, this would make sense as Miz has been feuding with his former tag team partner in R-Truth.
When Morrison was released from his contract, they had him written out of the WWE by Miz destroying Morrison. Not only would having Morrison comeback at No. 2 in the rumble tie into their history, but it would be a shocking return that would pop the crowd.
Morrison and Miz could give a hot start to the match and set the tone for one of the best Royal Rumble matches ever.
Why not R-Truth? Miz and R-Truth have had a wonderful storyline since R-Truth came back from his suspension.
However, since R-Truth has re-entered the WWE, he has been on a huge face push. Having R-Truth enter the Royal Rumble at No. 2 would give us that heated start to the match with two wrestlers deep in a rivalry.
Neither of these men have to eliminate each other, instead, they can just feed off of their anger to fight each other on a one-on-one basis.
These three wrestlers all may not enter the rumble at No.2. However, it would make sense to have any one of these men face off against Miz to open the match.
