The Royal Rumble is a time for the legends to come back for a one-time match to make the crowd jump out of their seats. Seeing the lights go out and the “gong” of the Undertaker’s music hit will make the crowd in St. Louis go insane.
The “Dead Man” is rumored to be coming back for WrestleMania for a send-off match against either Triple H or Chris Jericho. This means that, at the Royal Rumble, the Undertaker will make his surprise return on Sunday night.
The setting will be a ring full of wrestlers. Then, all of a sudden, the lights will go out and Taker's music will hit. Undertaker will make his way to the ring and instead of taking out multiple wrestlers, he will make his point of attack on either Jericho or Triple H.
We will watch as Undertaker takes a running clothesline at Jericho or Hunter, thus eliminating himself and his WrestleMania XXVIII opponent.
Just like the Undertaker making his shocking return to the Rumble, seeing “The Game” return will send the crowd into a frenzy.
Hunter has been silent since his brutal Ladder Match against Kevin Nash at Tables Ladders and Chairs. However, in that match, he showed signs of life that he could have one more run at the WWE Title in him.
Plus, with the return of the Undertaker, it would make sense for Hunter to be in the Rumble match.
Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper
Piper is always good for a one-time appearance like the Royal Rumble. He would be a great participant to enter the Rumble somewhere in the low teens, only to get eliminated after hitting a few of his signature moves.
Plus, with Piper’s involvement in the Rock and Cena storyline, and with his name being thrown around with WWE’s television project Legends House, it shows that he is still involved with the company.
These three legends are not-full time wrestlers, but they should make a quick appearance at this year’s Royal Rumble.
