Royal Rumble 2012: Santino Marella and Superstars with No Chance

Any one of the 30 wrestlers who enter the 2012 Royal Rumble has a chance to survive the match and be the last man standing. However, some guys do not have a snowball's chance in hell at winning the match. A person like Santino Marella is one of those wrestlers with no chance.

Santino Marella

Yes, Santino made it all the way to the final two at the 2011 Royal Rumble match. However, he did this by being forgotten about for most of the match until the very end, only to be eliminated by Alberto Del Rio.

This year, Santino has no use in the rumble, except to provide some comedic relief in the match. He has done nothing heading into the rumble and should last for no more than two minutes in the match.

Who knows? Maybe Santino can find a way to beat his elimination time from the 2009 rumble match.

Heath Slater

The one-man rock band has found himself on the losing end for the majority of 2011 and ’12. Slater owned the longest losing streak in the WWE, as he ended ’11 having not won a match since July 28th.

However, he did break his streak recently with a big pinfall win on NXT.

Slater’s chances at winning the rumble are about as good as the sun not coming up tomorrow. He will be the victim of being eliminated by one of the bigger guys, like Brodus Clay.

Brodus Clay

Speaking of the man from “Planet Funk,” Clay will be a dominating monster in the rumble, but has zero chance at surviving to be the last man standing. His character is starting to get over with the fans; however, his time to be a top draw in the WWE is not now.

Clay will see his rumble chances end on Sunday when he is eliminated by another big wrestler—let's say, Sheamus.

However, before Clay is eliminated, I’m sure we will see the house lights turn down low and Clay get a minute or two to show off his dancing moves.

These three wrestlers will have a chance to fight for the WWE or World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XXVIII. However, their odds of winning are slim-to-none.
