Manchester City: Forget Dani Alves' Goal, Watch Nigel De Jong's Wonder Goal

Tonight we witnessed two superb goals: one was a screamer by Dani Alves of Barcelona while the other one was Nigel De Jong's bullet goal. Both spectacular, both sublime.
However, Alves is not a typical defender and makes marauding runs and defensive split passes. So his goal, thought great, does not hold as much meaning as De Jong's, whose goal marks Nigel's second only goal for his club, Manchester City.
As Alves gathers all the spotlight on Bleacher Report, I thought that De Jong's goal should also get its fair share of credit.
The goal put Manchester City ahead of Liverpool, only to see Liverpool come back from behind twice to draw level with them.
The draw means that Liverpool proceed to the final of the Carling Cup on a 3-2 aggregate.
