Manny Pacquiao in the same ring as Floyd Mayweather is currently the dream fight for almost every boxing fan. Even non-boxing fans want to see this fight.

Is it a pure fantasy? Will it ever happen? Many boxing luminaries have tried to answer this question without much success. Let's assume it will happen.

Here are 10 predictions for the fight that everyone wants to see.

No. 10: It Will Be the Most Lucrative Fight in Boxing History

The fight between Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis brought several millions in revenues. The fight between Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya was even more lucrative.

However, Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather will become the most lucrative fight in boxing history. Manny Pacquiao is an international icon. For the past few years, he has been one of the hottest keywords on search engines such as Google.

Manny Pacquiao has been able to popularize boxing in several countries.

It will be the biggest purse. It will be the biggest pay-per-view event. It will be the biggest fight in boxing history.

No. 9: This Fight Will Be Held in Las Vegas

Manny Pacquiao fought in Nevada for nine of his past 12 fights.  Since 2006, Floyd Mayweather hasn't fought anywhere else than in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas is a neutral location and the perfect place for the highly-anticipated fight. If you want to be in the crowd, you will have to get your plane ticket for Las Vegas, Nevada.

No. 8: Manny Pacquiao Will Be the First to Enter the Ring

This is a bold prediction, but I wouldn't be surprised if Money May requests to be the second fighter to enter the ring.

I don't think Pacquiao will bother much about it. Mayweather cares a lot more about the details and entering the ring after Pacquiao will be important for him.

No. 7: The First Round Will Be Won by Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will start the fight by studying each other.  It will be a less active round for Manny Pacquiao.

I believe that early on, Pacquiao is the one who will need more adjustments regarding the counter-punching style of Mayweather. Even more, we all know how much trouble Pacquiao had vs. Marquez.

Mayweather is used to aggressive fighters. It won't be a very exciting round, but Money May should get a slight advantage over his opponent in this first round.

No. 6: After Six Rounds, Mayweather Will Have the Edge on the Scorecards

Again, if Pacquiao needs more adjustments, then Mayweather will have the early edge. The first half of the fight will be controlled by Money May. Starting around the fifth round, you will witness Freddie Roach urging Pacquiao to be more active in the ring.

No. 5: The Fight Will Go to the Distance

Manny Pacquiao hasn't won by knockout since 2009. There is no way that he will be able to win by knockout against a defensive master like Money May.

Mayweather will keep rolling Pacquiao's flurries all night long. As for Mayweather, he will do what he is used to doing. He will land clear punches while counter-punching.

Pacquiao is a relentless fighter. He won't stay down if Mayweather knocks him down. Chances are high that we will hear the judges' scorecards.

No. 4: There Won't Be a Clear Winner in the Eyes of Everyone

If the fight goes to the distance, and it will, some boxing fans will still try to bring arguments why their boxer should have won. It's inevitable.

Manny Pacquiao will throw more punches. Floyd Mayweather will land more clean punches. Manny Pacquiao will be the more aggressive fighter.  Money May won't get touched cleanly.  It will be a typical fight where either corners could claim it was a robbery.

The only way to have a clear winner would be to have a knockout. It won't happen. People will ask for a rematch, but I believe it is very unlikely that a rematch will happen.

No. 3: Manny Pacquiao Will Throw More Punches Than Floyd Mayweather

Manny Pacquiao will be the one bringing pressure in this fight and he will throw more punches. It isn't a big secret. Money May knows it and everyone is aware of it.

Pac-Man has to be more active. Mayweather will keep rolling his flurry, but Pacquiao will continue to be active for the 12 rounds.

According to BoxRec, Jose Luis Castillo threw more punches in both fights against Mayweather. In the second duel, he had over 200 more thrown punches. Castillo almost won both fights. Pacquiao will do the same.

No. 2: Floyd Mayweather Will Retire If He Wins

Floyd Mayweather has defeated Mosley, Hatton, Marquez, De La Hoya and Judah. If he beats Pacquiao without any controversy, he will most likely call it a career.

After his win vs. Hatton in 2007, it took two more years for Mayweather to get back in the ring. Mayweather will be 35 on February 24. What's left for him?

If he can prove to the boxing world that he is better than Manny Pacquiao, then his legacy and his undefeated record are safe. I don't see why Mayweather would step back in the ring even if it's to fight Sergio Martinez or Miguel Cotto.
