It's almost that time again. You know, for that "special" game when all the stars come out to play on one ice surface.

This is the one day of year that fans can hardly wait for so that they can see the purest representation of the game of hockey that's possible.

And the players...they are even more excited about the exhibition than the fans. They take the bout with so much seriousness, giving their all every shift.

Let's be honest with ourselves, the NHL All-Star Game is a complete joke. That's why we're going to make an even bigger mockery out of it by coming up with the most ridiculous predictions we can.

A Goalie Won't Allow a Goal

Since there will be so much well-played defense, there is a good possibility that at least one goalie will put up a goose egg during his period of play.

Even If It's Unintentional, Someone Will Play Defense

It may be by complete accident, but at some point in the game, someone will actually be positioned properly in the defensive zone and halt a scoring chance.

There Will Be One Moment of Back Checking

It may only be because the player with the puck is skating too slow, but expect to see a back check or two.

Someone Will Block a Shot

This will probably be another unintentional act, but there will be a shot block. A hockey player may actually feel pain.

Someone Will Bleed

Even if it's a paper cut suffered while suiting up in the locker room, someone will bleed.

The Glass Will Shatter

Since the players will be shooting the puck so hard, some glass is bound to break.

There Will Be a Bevy of Penalties

Since the game will be played so intensely, the referees will want to keep control by calling a stiff game.

The Game Play Will Be More Riveting Than What Happens During Stoppages

This year, fans will actually want to watch the game instead of looking forward to breaks from it. Then again, if she's clearing the ice, maybe not.

There Will Be a Penalty Shot

The players will be so desperate not to give up a goal that someone makes a last-attempt effort to stop a scoring chance, causing a penalty shot.

Players Will Defend the Neutral Zone

A real system will be put in place, so expect to see a well-disciplined game featuring a clogged neutral zone.

The Commentary Will Be Entertaining

At least we'll have riveting commentary to look forward to during the telecast.

A Body Check Will Be Thrown Somewhere During the 2nd and 3rd Period

Things are going to get really testy. It'll get heated somewhere done the stretch. We will even see a real, honest-to-goodness body check!

There Will Be a Fight

The players will get so into it that there will be a fight. After all, there will be plenty of star players to defend.

The Players Will Actually Care

The players are really going to get up for this one. Expect to see a 100 percent effort from every player on the ice.

It's Actually Enjoyable to Watch

Here's the boldest one yet....

The game will actually be fun to watch.
