The Utah Jazz are interested in trading point guard Devin Harris, according to NBC Sports.

Harris has been disappointing this season to say the least. He's averaging only 8.1 points and 4.6 assists per game for the Jazz, who are 9-5 so far.

A change of scenery might be just what the doctor ordered for Harris. Going to a playoff contender is always a good way to light a fire in a player.

So, if that is indeed what Harris needs, here are three teams that should pick up the phone and give the Jazz a call.

1. New York Knicks

It's no secret that the Knicks desperately need a point guard if they are going to win a playoff series and make the most of their talented frontcourt.

Currently, they have Toney Douglas, Iman Shumpert and Baron Davis to run the point guard position. Adding Harris would immensely improve that position now and into the future.

The only problem is that Harris is making $9.3 million this year and has another year left on his contract.

It's questionable that the Knicks could get Harris without having to get rid of all their decent bench players like Douglas, Shumpert and Jared Jeffries.

But if they can find a way to make it work, it's a no-brainer for Mike D'Antoni's team.

2. Los Angeles Lakers

Derek Fisher's skills continue to decline as he gets older. He can't keep being productive as a starter for much longer and backup Steve Blake isn't exactly starter material either. This team needs another guard who can help Kobe Bryant score points.

Kobe has had to do everything for the Lakers this season. He won't be able to keep up this fervent pace all season at his age.

Harris would provide more energy and more of a scoring spark than Fisher and Blake can at this stage of their careers.

3. Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks face a situation similar to that of the Lakers in that their starting point guard is getting older and won't be productive for much longer.

Jason Kidd is clearly slowing down and isn't a starting-caliber point guard anymore. And with Delonte West in the starting shooting guard role, the Mavs don't really have a solid backup to Kidd.

Bringing back Devin Harris, who started his career in Dallas and was actually traded in the deal that brought Kidd to the Mavs, would make a lot of sense.

This team needs to get younger and faster. Harris would certainly help with that.
