Milton Bradley Joins Cubs in Hopes of Ending World Series Drought

The Chicago Cubs have added a big bat to an already powerful lineup, Milton Bradley. Today Bradley agreed to a three-year deal worth an estimated $30 million.

The Cubs now have arguably the best offense and pitching in all of baseball. With the losses of closer Kerry Wood and the very versatile Mark DeRosa, the Cubs needed another big name player.

Milton Bradley will probably play right field for the Cubs, moving Kosuke Fukudome to center. That is one out of many possible scenarios, but the main thing is Milton Bradley is a Cub.

Here is the projected positioning for the 2009 Chicago Cubs.

C. Geovany Soto
1B. Derrek Lee
2B. Aaron Miles
SS. Ryan Theriot
3B. Aramis Ramirez
LF. Alfonso Soriano
CF. Kosuke Fukudome
RF. Milton Bradley

SP. Ryan Dempster
SP. Carlos Zambrano
SP. Ted Lilly
SP. Rich Harden
SP. Jason Marquis

CL. Carlos Marmol
