With the NHL past its halfway point and its teams bearing down on the playoffs, the offseason is beginning to come into sight on the horizon.
The NHL Entry Draft's first round is 141 days away, but NHL scouts and general managers around the league are already beginning to plan for the day when their futures will be decided.
On the 22nd of June, the 210 best young ice hockey players in the world will be divvied up among the 30 NHL teams. Some will develop into NHL superstars. Some will bust. It's all part of the excitement that comes with the draft.
