The 2012 college football schedules are completely finalized, but we do know which non-conference games will occur, and they’re not going to disappoint.

While in-conference matchups are always fun to watch, it’s more intriguing to see how a team does against a team it isn’t used to playing.

Whether they’re traveling very far from home, or facing a team whose style of play is quite different from what they’re used to, it will be interesting to see how these teams handle adversity.

Neutral site games to kick off the season are excellent for college football, and 2012 is loaded with stellar matchups.

Conference realignment could put an end to some possible games, so that will definitely be something to watch.

Hopefully it doesn’t happen, though, because these games are highly anticipated and will help shape the road to the BCS.
