I know that the Matt Flynn trade might come off as a bit of a surprise here because there were reports that the Packers are unlikely to use the franchise tag.
However, I think the Packers know that so many teams are starved for QBs and getting the most they can for Matt Flynn—especially after they have seen so many holes—is the best way to go. Anyone who saw the Packers in the NFC divisional showdown knows that they need some O-line upgrades, a premiere back and some help in their secondary. If they don’t get that, they will be in deep, deep trouble come next season.
With that said, I think these other trades can surely happen. Have your say, but think about it before you let the fan in you cloud your judgement. This isn’t about sports: Football is a business and some of these trades are just good for business.
