Carlo Ancelotti, manager of recently affluent Paris St. Germain, has claimed that Fernando Torres has been offered to his current club. Ancelotti, whilst manager at Chelsea, had paid a record-breaking transfer fee of £50 million to pry the Spanish hitman away from Liverpool.

However, Torres has struggled all year long and has been deemed an expensive flop.

Torres is slowly regaining his old form which made him such an influential player during his time at Liverpool, though, and he might be the ideal choice for Ancelotti to sign. PSG already spent 85 million euros last summer, and now, Ancelotti is looking to add a few key high-profile signings to his burgeoning club.

Besides Torres, PSG are also in active pursuit of Carlos Tevez, after a deal for Alexander Pato of AC Milan fell through. Ancelloti told Gazetta dello Sport, that after singing for PSG he has received numerous calls from agents offering him high-profile players: Tevez, Torres, Bebatov, Cavani and Falcao are just a few.

Given the position of Ancelotti, whom would you want as your ideal striker? And if you are Torres, should you look for a move away from the club where you are constantly benched?
