Epico tweeted the following an hour ago:

"We came, we saw, we conquered!! And tonight Primo and Epico are the new WWE Tag Team Champions!!!!!!"

"Primo y Epico nuevos Campeones en pareja de la WWE!!"

"How bout them Giants though!!"

Indeed, Primo (Eddie Colon) and Epico (his cousin, Orlando Colon) won the WWE Tag Team Championships from Air Boom (Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston) at a WWE house show/live event today in Oakland, California. Video of the finish is embedded at the top of this article.

If you can't watch the video at the moment, the finish was pretty simple: Bourne hit his flying double kneedrop on Primo, Epico broke up the pin, Kofi came in and got back bodydropped to the floor by Epico, Bourne clotheslined Epico out of the ring and Primo hit Bourne with the Back Stabber for the pin.

The new champions cut a promo with valet Rosa Mendes for WWE's YouTube channel afterwards, which can be seen here. For whatever reason, the change has not yet been acknowledged on WWE.com.

Upon learning of the news, former ECW star Steve Corino, who worked with the Cousins in Puerto Rico, tweeted the following:

"Just read that my buddy  & Primo are the new WWE tag team champions! Congrats O. So proud of you!!!"

It should be interesting to see how this pans out, as it's been a while since WWE has done a title change at a house show that wasn't immediately switched back. I believe the last time was when The Miz and John Morrisson won the tag titles from Kingston and CM Punk in Hamilton, Ontario in 2009. I'm not sure what the last time was before that.
