Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell took all the heat for the Redskins' struggles down the stretch losing six out of the last eight games after starting 6-2.

But it's not Campbell's fault learning three different offenses in his four years. It's not his fault that the offensive line struggles to protect him, and it's not his fault that both his receivers are 5-10. Campbell showed that he can be a franchise quarterback by throwing 13 touchdown passes and only six interceptions for the year.

Campbell ran into some great defenses in the second half of the season by playing teams like Steelers, Giants, Ravens, and Eagles. Any NFL quarterback will have the same struggles if they play those kind of defenses.

With a new West Coast offense, Campbell did well leading the redskins to an 8-8 season, not a great season or bad season. Campbell has shown he is one of the great quarterbacks in the league, and when you mention Joe Flacco, Jay Cutler, Phillip Rivers, Campbell's name should be in those discussions.

Yes, Campbell made some mistakes at times, but it's not one game where he blew it and caused them the game, and say, put Collins or Brennan in the game. The same people that are saying let Collins or Brennan get a change were the same people praising him when he was 6-2 saying, "He has not thrown a interception yet he is the best. But when times get rough, bench him now." It just does not make sense to me.
