The 2012 Australian Open is sure to feature not only great tennis from the world's best, but also some of the most beautiful athletes fans have ever seen.

The women's draw in particular features a host of names worthy of a magazine cover as well as hoisting a Slam title down under.

The two-week long event will certainly pique fans' competitive and casual interest, but for those with minimal watching interest, there is plenty of reason to tune in.

Forget about the favorites like Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams and Ana Ivanovic for now, because there are more than a handful of athletic beauties that tennis fans don't know of just yet.

Join Bleacher Report as we take a look at five under-the-radar hotties in the women's draw at the 2012 Australian Open.

The 26-year-old native of the Czech Republic is ranked 33rd in the world. Cetkovska turned pro as a teenager and has played in just two Aussie Open matches previously; she lost both.

The gorgeous star will return to the Open for the first time since 2009 this January, bringing a European flavor with her.

Jelena Dokic

An Australian beauty born in Yugoslavia, the 28-year-old Jelena Dokic will be a hometown favorite this month at the Australian Open.

The 5'9" right-hander has been a tennis pro since 1998, and has made seven career appearances at the Aussie Open.

Dokic is 7-7 in those seven appearances, having never gone farther than the third round.

If you are looking for a hot Aussie to root for, here she is.

Gisella Dulko

The 26-year-old Argentine was a champion at the Australian Open not too long ago.

Last year Dulko and teammate Flavia Pennetta won the women's doubles championship at the 2011 Australian Open.

The 5'7" Dulko has 300 career wins to her name and will look to add more down under while adding plenty of sex appeal to the women's bracket.

Maria Kirilenko

One of the most underrated female tennis players in today's game, Russian-born Maria Kirilenko has a game and beauty not far from that of fellow Russian Maria Sharapova.

Kirilenko is just 24 years old and has a great future ahead of her. The 5'8" stunner is even dating NHL star Alexander Ovechkin according to a November 2011 tweet. Lucky him.

Dominika Cibulkova

At just 22 years old, Slovakian tennis star Dominika Cibulkova has a bright future.

Cibulkova reached the semifinals at the 2009 French Open, and the quarterfinals at both the 2010 US Open and the 2011 Wimbledon Championships.

She is only 5'3", but her powerful frame makes her one of hottest and toughest outs in tennis.
