January Transfer Window: 20 Biggest Potential Moves Remaining
The sparks have not flown too much so far in the January transfer window but there is still time for some big moves.
There are a some big names available for suitors and there is always the possibility of a shock move.
As teams continue to re-assess their situation both in terms of personnel and finances, it is likely that the window could heat up at some point soon.
Here are some of the biggest potential moves remaining in the January transfer window.
Jordi Alba to Barcelona

According to Goal.com, Jordi Alba may move to Barcelona during this window. The Catalans will be losing the services of Maxwell at left-back and are still trying to finalize Eric Abidal's contract situation.
Alba is a former Barcelona youth product who could slot right into the team and provide a long-term option at left-back.
Carlos Tevez to AC Milan

If this Yahoo Sports report is true, Carlos Tevez will soon join AC Milan. That deal should be concluded within the next few days and maybe as early as today or tomorrow.
Gary Cahill to Chelsea

Skysports.com reports that Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is still trying to sign Gary Cahill. Negotiations between the player and club have stalled due to disagreements about personal terms.
Christopher Samba to Tottenham

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham has made a bid for Christopher Samba. Samba was ready to move to a bigger club in the summer if it happened, and he may just jump at the chance to join the Spurs.
Spurs have an injury-prone defender in Ledley King and an aging William Gallas as well. Defensive reinforcements could really help the team continue its push to the top of the table.
Eden Hazard to Chelsea

It seems that Chelsea will try to go after Eden Hazard during this transfer window. Goal.com reports that the London club is willing to part with €30 million to get the Belgian wonderkid.
Andy Johnson to Blackburn Rovers

This move could have a big impact on the lower half of the Premier League table. Andy Johnson has yet to renew his contract with Fulham and according to Skysports.com, Blackburn is looking to bolster its attack by bidding for the Englishman.
Tim Ream to Bolton

Bolton look set to bring in American defender Tim Ream as a replacement for Gary Cahill. According to Talksport.com, Bolton is close to finalizing a deal with the New York Red Bulls man.
Dimitar Berbatov to Bayern Munich

According to InsideFutbol.com, Bayern Munich may be looking to bring Dimitar Berbatov back to Germany. The Bulgarian has seen more of a bench role so far this season and could be intrigued by a move back to Germany.
Eric Abidal to Arsenal

Caughtoffside.com reports that Arsenal is willing to make its interest in Eric Abidal real with a bid of €5M.
The Frenchman is yet to sign a contract extension with his club, and speculation about this potential move will continue until something official is done by either side.

According to Goal.com, Aleksandar Kolarov has attracted interest from Italian clubs Juventus and Inter Milan.
