In just his second career start, Green Bay’s Matt Flynn put on a performance for the ages in Week 17.

Heading into unrestricted free agency, Flynn’s impressive showing will give him a chance to write his own ticket (or nearly so) in the always-lucrative market for free agent quarterbacks.

Flynn was starting only as a placeholder to avoid getting Aaron Rodgers hurt, but he lit up the playoff-bound Lions for 480 yards and six touchdowns, putting him in the record-setting company of Hall of Fame passers like Y.A. Tittle and Joe Montana.

Even with the advantages of Green Bay’s talent-rich skill-position players around him, it was an extraordinary performance.

With Flynn likely to hit the open market, the question becomes which team is going to land him. Take a look at this collection of the five front-runners (assuming that top rookie prospects Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III don’t drop farther than Cleveland at draft pick No. 4).
