Dorian Green led the Colorado State Rams (10-4) to a 87-63 victory Saturday night. Green led the team in scoring with 21 points, shooting 6-of-7 from the field and 7-of-7 from the charity stripe.

Reserves Greg Smith and Chad Calcaterra each scored 14 points to help the Rams effort.

Mitch Albers led the UNO Mavericks with 15 points in 30 minutes of actions. Alex Welhouse and John Karhoff both had 10 points for the Mavericks who fell to 6-11 this season.

The Rams held the Mavericks to an abysmal 38 percent shooting. The Rams also dished the rock, getting 22 assists on 31 field goals, and held the Mavericks to seven assists on 24 made field goals. The Mavericks ran a lot of isolation, as is evident by Mitch Albers 5-of-14 shooting, while still leading his team in scoring.

The Rams will have one more non-conference game against the Denver Pioneers on January 11 before starting conference action against Boise State on January 14.

The Mavericks will face Johnson & Wales (Denver) on January 8, looking to win their seventh game this season.
