The linebacker position may be filled with the most jacked players in the entire NFL. It is a position that requires its players to have both strength and speed, and ultimately power. The NFL has its share of monsters and beasts at the linebacker position and here are the top five most jacked linebackers in the National Football League.

Honorable Mention

These five players didn't make the cut, but don't get me wrong, they're still jacked:

Brian Urlacher, Chicago Bears

Patrick Willis, San Fransico 49ers

Terrell Suggs, Baltimore Ravens

James Laurinaitis, St. Louis Rams

London Fletcher, Washington Redskins

5. Brian Cushing

Brian Cushing of the Houston Texans falls in as the No. 5 most jacked linebacker in the NFL and for good reason. I once saw a video of the 6’3”, 248-pound linebacker benching 225 35 times. If that’s not a display of both great strength and muscular endurance, I don’t know what is.

4. Ray Lewis

Ray Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens is a classic example of what hard work and effort can do for you. Even after 16 years in the NFL, the 6’1”, 250-pound linebacker is killing it on the field. Another place he is killing it is in the gym. Lewis has built a body that allows him to intimidate and crush his opponents.

3. Clay Matthews

Opposing quarterbacks tremble when Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers makes his way towards the scrimmage line. They know he is just a spin move and a few steps away from squashing them like a bug. The 6’3”, 255-pound linebacker holds nothing back when he is going after the opposing team's quarterback, but they wish he would. He is just a flat-out beast.

2. James Harrison

James Harrison of the Pittsburgh Steelers may not have the height of most NFL linebackers at 6’0”, but he definitely has the weight and sheer strength. Weighing in at 242 pounds, Harrison is one of the most feared linebackers in the league and also one of the most jacked.

1. Takeo Spikes

Takeo Spikes of the San Diego Chargers is a 6’2”, 242-pound monster. He is known for his huge muscles and his enormous neck. The guy is just a monster and deserves the label of being the most jacked linebacker in the NFL.
