Highly recruited high school running back T.J. Yeldon made headlines a few weeks ago by switching his commitment from Auburn to Alabama.

Now, he's back to making news-worthy plays on the field.

The explosive 6'2", 210-pound running back showed his skills in the first quarter of the 2012 Army All-American game.

After catching a short pass, he busted a little shake-n-bake move, broke one tackle and hurdled one of the nation's best defensive backs. He stepped out of bounds before reaching the goal line, but the West team scored shortly after.

It was just one play, but it was a great showcase of Yeldon's skill set. He's a versatile back with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. And at 210 pounds, you aren't bringing him down with a soft tackle.

The acrobatic move was cute, but Yeldon is a bruiser through and through. Last season he ran for 2,196 yards and scored 32 touchdowns for Daphne High School in Alabama.

He also unleashed a series of violent runs that will remind 'Bama fans of current running back Trent Richardson.

Richardson is a junior and will likely be leaving for the NFL after the BCS National Championship game on Monday.

Alabama fans will be understandably sad if he leaves. But when Yeldon arrives on campus, that sadness will be replaced by high hopes for the future.

He was the third ranked running back in the class of 2012. In a few years, Yeldon will be the next Heisman trophy candidate from Alabama.
