Sunday afternoon's AFC Wild Card matchup between the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers is actually one of the least anticipated match ups this weekend.
A month ago, millions would have been glued to the television. What Tim Tebow was doing with this Denver Broncos team was unbelievable.
Now, after a three game slide, many have lost interest in the Broncos.
Things have just fallen apart for the team. They were lucky to even sneak into the playoffs.
Everybody that was once riding the Tebow bandwagon have jumped off. Teams have figured out how to stop the beloved quarterback.
The Steelers are battling through a lot of issues during their trip to Mile High. They are one of the most injury plagued teams in the league.
It doesn't matter. They are still favorites to take out the Broncos.
They should be able to do it in convincing fashion.
The Denver defense that looked fantastic during the team's winning streak have suddenly collapsed with Brian Dawkins out.
With a loss, is Tebow done in Denver?
The offense that already looked pretty inept has gotten even worse. They couldn't even manage eight points to clinch a spot in the playoffs during their week 17 game against Kansas City.
This game could get ugly. The Pittsburgh defense is going to shut down Tebow and the offense is going to manage a few touchdowns with their passing attack.
A spread of over 20 points is very possible in this one and a final score of 31-10 wouldn't be too shocking.
It would, however, likely initiate the end of Tebow's career in Denver.
It could also be the end of his career as a starting quarterback in the NFL. It's unlikely very many teams will give him a look after the way this season ended.
It's clear that Denver is ready to move in a new direction. All they need is for Tebow to play poorly one more time.
