UFC on FOX 2: Phil Davis Trains on His Wrestling to Prepare for Rashad Evans
Phil Davis is prepared to utilize his wrestling skills against Rashad Evans when the two light heavyweights square off at UFC on FOX 2 later this month.
The former Penn State alumni is currently undefeated in the UFC, sporting a 6-0 record inside the Octagon, and he hopes to remain that way with a win over Evans.
FightHubTV.com caught up with "Mr.Wonderful" during a training session to watch Davis implement wrestling drills and techniques.
Davis and Evans were originally set to meet last August at UFC 133 before a knee injury prevented Davis from competing. The two competitors have recently built up a rivalry since then, when both Evans and Davis traded words back and forth at a UFC on FOX press conference.
The winner between Evans and Davis is scheduled to challenge UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
