WWE: Hall of Famer Rowdy Roddy Piper Says He Wants to Wrestle One Last Match

Bleacher ReportAnalyst IJanuary 5, 2012

According to Yahoo! Sports, WWE Hall of Famer "Rowdy" Roddy Piper stated on his Twitter account that he would like to wrestle at least one more match. A fan had asked him about the possibility of getting in the ring one more time, and Piper responded by tweeting:

"I have not been asked to be in Royal Rumble. I tell u a secret, promise to keep it? I am going to do 1 more balls to wall match!"

At the ripe old age of 57, Piper is not the first pro wrestler to compete well into his golden years. Other superstars like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are still competing today, so it is entirely possible that "Hod Rod" will step in the ring one last time.

On September 12th, 2011, Piper had undergone emergency neck surgery, when he realized he had been wrestling with a broken neck. He has since recovered and is in good health overall. But with this recent neck surgery, stepping into the ring might be a dangerous risk for Piper to take.
