Orange Bowl 2012 Video: Watch Andre Ellington's Electric TD Run
The Orange Bowl lived up to its name as a bright blur of range streaked across the field early in the game.
Andre Ellington is strutting his stuff on the national stage and had an early run that will no doubt make the game's highlight reel when this game is over.
College football fans are savoring offense while they can get it. A breach in the defensive line led to this magnificent run that saw Ellington cover 68 yards with no one in sight able to keep up with the junior running back.
Let's all be honest, this bowl season has been filled with far more misses than hits. So every fan watching has to be, at the least, a little apprehensive.
You never know if you are walking into a couple hours of boredom only to see a kicker ruin your day in the end.
It was evident as soon as Ellington broke from the first level of defense that this game would feature a great deal more offense than we have been accustomed to this bowl season.
With Geno Smith doing his best to keep West Virginia in tow with Clemson, it has become abundantly clear who the star of the show on Clemson will be.
Ellington doesn't just have another gear, he has gears that other players could only dream of having. After watching him torch the Mountaineers on this play, I am convinced Clemson need only feed Ellington the ball all night.
This young man is hungry for the ball. When you see that from a player, you best feed him.
