Several of the offseason's additions played a major role in the makeup of the playoffs. Players like Andy Dalton and Johnathan Joseph can be labeled as the main reason for the team's playoff appearance. A team's ability to fill holes during the offseason can make or break a season.

The Chicago Bears decided that adding a rookie right tackle and Roy Williams was enough to get them back to the playoffs. These decisions played an important part in their late-season collapse. I am sure Caleb Hanie would have fared better with different wide receiver options.
