Chelsea players have again been very fortunate to draw with a lower league opposition.  The sixth round draw indicates that Chelsea will next face Barnsley (who defeated Liverpool) in the FA Cup fight.

Analysts have pointing to Chelsea’s luck in drawing lesser opponents—like Huddersfield and Q.P.R—every now and then, whereas Manchester United faced the likes of Tottenham and Arsenal.

Chelsea's draw with Barnsley comes as a relief to Avram Grant's side, earlier facing the prospect of a clash with United.

Manchester United, however, will once again come up against top-flight club Portsmouth at Old Trafford on the weekend of March 8th and 9th.

Bristol Rovers will play West Brom, while Cardiff will face the winner of the replay between Sheffield United and Middlesborough.

This season just three Premier League clubs have made it this far in the FA Cup—Middlesbrough with a replay.

According to many, like Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp, this is “disgraceful.”

Truly, the Premier League teams must do better in the FA cup, and unfortunately this year they just havent proved themselves worthy. The teams from the Championship and the lower leagues simply want the trophy more, and they have proved this time and again by outplaying and defeating the big teams of the EPL. Redknapp is spot on with "disgraceful", and honestly, i dont understand why some middle/ lower class Premier team would field a weakened lineup, as the FA cup might be their only shot at winning something that year

I think it's sometimes good to play another premier league club. This makes you focus on the job at hand and there is far less complacency.

I don't realy think that Chelsea would be relieved by they fixture with Barnsley. I mean, we have all seen what Barnsley can do. But i think you made some ok comments. good work, you have great potential in understanding the facts of football.
