NHL Announces Starting Rosters for 2009 All-Star Game

Earlier today, Montreal Canadiens legend Jean Beliveau announced the starters for the 2009 NHL All-Star Game in Montreal.

For the West, in goal will be J.S. Giguere, making his first All-Star appearance.

The defence for the West will be Brian Campbell of Chicago, and Scott Neidermayer.

The forwards for team West will be Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews, and Ryan Getzlaf.

The goalie for the East will be Montreal Canadiens netminder Carey Price.  

On defence for team East will be Andrei Markov and Mike Komisarek.

On forward will be Alex Kovalev, Sidney Crosby, and Evgeni Malkin.
