It took just 12 seconds for Johny Hendricks to knock out Jon Fitch tonight at UFC 141.

Before tonight’s fight, Fitch was arguably the No. 2 welterweight in the world.

Tonight’s loss sends Fitch back to the drawing board, as he will have to work his way back up the welterweight division.

Here’s a look at some fights he could take to get back on track.

Dong Hyun Kim

Like Fitch, Dong Hyun Kim also fought tonight.

The only difference is Kim’s results were much different.

Kim was undefeated before he faced Carlos Condit at UFC 132 earlier in the year.

He’s been asking for a step up in competition and despite Fitch’s quick loss, he would still be a big fight for him.

Dan Hardy

Despite losing his last four fights, Dan Hardy still remains one of the most popular fighters in the UFC today.

Hardy is in desperate need of a win, though, if he wants to remain in the organization.

If Hardy can defeat Fitch, it would be a huge victory for him.

A victory for Fitch, on the other hand, gives him another win over a former title contender.

Brian Ebersole

One of the most unorthodox fighters to ever hit the Octagon is Brian Ebersole.

Ebersole is currently 3-0 in his UFC career and is looking to fight some of the elite in the division.

Like Fitch, Ebersole has a wrestling background.

A win over Ebersole could prove that Fitch still belongs with the top fighters of the division.

A loss, though, would send him deeper down the division but could give him an exciting fight.

Matt Hughes

Matt Hughes may be inches away from retiring from the UFC, but a fight against Fitch could be a good final fight.

Both Fitch and Hughes are strong wrestlers and have been at the top of the welterweight division for years.

Although beating Hughes now may not mean much to Fitch, Hughes may have enough stand up and wrestling left in him to be a decent fight for him.
