Bobby Lashley Should Leave MMA and Come Back to WWE Right Now

It's time for him to come home.

In case you haven't heard yet, Bobby Lashley wants to come back to WWE after his MMA career is over.

When Lashley walked away from WWE and became an MMA fighter, his goal was to some day make it into UFC. Thus far, he hasn't.

He is a current reigning heavyweight champion, but the promotion (Shark Fights) is nowhere as credible as UFC is. It's almost like comparing Ring of Honor to WWE.

If Lashley was 25 years of age, I would recommend that he keep pursuing his dreams of becoming a UFC star. However, he's 35 years old. While it's not impossible for him to eventually be signed by Dana White, it's improbable. The UFC president has long ignored Lashley in public interviews.

Vince McMahon was upset when Lashley walked away from his company. However, he would definitely be open to bringing him back since the former ECW champion still has some value to him.

Now is also a great time for Lashley to return because of the lack of stars on the current roster. WWE has not been able to create a lot of top-level stars over the past few years. Lashley would help to fill that void (especially with Randy Orton suffering from a severe back injury).

Professional wrestling is more of a home to Lashley right now than MMA.
