The last time Ryan Newman was in Kevin Harvick Incorporated equipment, he went out and won the race. He was driving KHI's No.2 truck in the Camping World Truck Series at Atlanta in October.

It was his first time in a truck and he made it seem easy.

Maybe that is why Harvick has decided to let Newman run six Nationwide Series races in 2009. When Newman joins Tony Stewart in a Chevrolet at Stewart-Haas Racing this season, it allows Newman to drive Harvick's Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series without a manufacturer conflict.

The races that he is currently scheduled to run are: Las Vegas in February, Talladega in March, Darlington in May, Bristol in August, Dover in September, and Lowe's in October.

The car will most likely be the No.33, no word on if Camping World will remain the sponsor.

The last time Newman ran in the Nationwide Series was in 2005 when he entered nine races for Penske Racing, he went out and won six of them, including five straight. That stands as a Nationwide Series record.
