Arizona Cardinals Top Writers

1 - Michael Cline

Writer bio

Sports have been a huge part of my young (OK, maybe not that young) life. I was born a Buckeye and have been following Buckeye Football since the Tom Tupa days. I'm a fan of all things Ohio (Buckeyes, Reds, Bengals, Browns to name a few), but relocated to Georgia so I know a fair share about southern teams/conferences as well. I've participated in multiple sports and of course am a professional spectator. I've been writing for B/R for a little over a month and have loved every minute of being a part of the community.

Welcome to my little corner on Bleacher Report.

I refuse to write my bio in third person, because I'm not that type of guy.

I'm 25 and live in Brooklyn, NY. I work in television licensing, reviewing contracts for a pretty well-known network. I'm a Jets' fan to the core, and refuse to believe that they can ever lose a game. I'm the Head Writer at NYJetsFan.com and Editor-in-Chief of the QN5 FANZINE.

CBSSports.com and FoxSports.com have published links to some of my articles, and I hope to make a habit of it. I've also been a guest on Alan Lupiani's "Morning Sports' Bite" on YouCastr.com.

When I'm not writing, I'm spending time with my lady, family, or 360 and PS3. If you've got Xbox Live, feel free to send a friend request to "Amen Barksdale." If you're on...

3 - Raider Card Addict

Writer bio

The result of an older brother following the Raiders and a Father who follows the Broncos, Joseph Budd was tuned to the Raiders at a young age, starting with Ken Stabler's game against the Vikings in the 1976 season. Going through school, he was the subject of ridicule and resentment, especially after cheering for the Raiders through two more Super Bowl wins, and watched in horror when Bo Jackson's career was derailed.

Never giving up on his team, Joe went on to college, and took his hobby into business, opening a card shop, trading, and doing business both before and after the internet took off, selling cards and collectables.

After discovering that there was no physical way to collect every single card when your name is not Donald Trump, Joe decided to pursue the Raider cards. A...

Writer bio

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, (the Mormons), first and foremost and served my mission among both PAC-10 and Conference USA fans in Tucson, Ariz. and El Paso, Texas. I love the NFL and am exceptionally pleased with the 4-1 start for my Denver Broncos, while I also like the Dolphins, Colts, Seahawks, Eagles and Lions. Obviously, some of these teams are successful, and some are not, but I also like the NBA (GO Mavs), college basketball and would like college football more, if it weren't for the lack of a playoff. I do have Italian in my bloodlines, so if I'm angry, that's why, while I also have British, Danish and Scottish stock. I am a graduate of Southern Utah University and currently work at Mid-Utah Radio in Manti, Utah.

Writer bio

I am a sophomore at John F. Kennedy High School. I have played 3 sports in organized leagues. I played JV Football last season, I'm a quarterback. I played baseball in BCC from about age 10-13. I played basketball in the YES League in 2007. I enjoy watching sports, playing sports, writing about sports. My favorite team is the Baltimore Ravens. I also like the Orioles. I despise the New York Yankees and the Washington Nationals. Even though I hate the Yankees to death, I have some Yankee fan friends. I'm 15 years old, probably the only one here at that age. I have been a sports guy since 1998, when I was 5! Then, I liked the Cowboys. I started liking my current favorite team, the Ravens. I mostly write about baseball, but I know a lot about each sport.

And yes, that is me in the pictu...

7 - Ryan Brennan

Writer bio

I currently work in finance but have an obsession with most things sports related. I follow football (professional and college) and college basketball very closely, so that is what you will find most of my articles are written about. I am not limited to only those topics, though, so if you want my opinion on something else, just let me know.

I have always been a "numbers person" so you'll find a lot of stats in most of my articles. I find it an easy yet very useful way to start an analysis of two teams.

If you have questions or comments about anything, feel free to reach out and contact me. You can send me an email at ryan.paul.brennan@gmail.com

8 - Alex McVeigh

Writer bio

I am 25 years old, I live in Northern Virginia, and in real life I am a newspaper reporter. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in English, and I was a substitute teacher for a few months before becoming a writer.

I am somewhat of an oddity as a sports fan. I love the Boston Red Sox and I hate the New York Yankees. I love the New York Giants and I hate the Dallas Cowboys. I love the Dallas Mavericks and I hate the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors, and the Miami Heat.

My favorite players are Dirk Nowitzki, Kevin Youkilis and Eli Manning in approximately that order. I think Alex Rodriguez, Tony Romo and Dwyane Wade should burn in hell. I don't like Tim Duncan, but goddamit I respect him.

I am not a fair-weather fan. I liked the Red S...

12 - James Rees

Writer bio

I"m a 22-year old graduate of LSU who is interested in little outside the world of sports. Growing up in the New Orleans metro area, I've dealt with the unfortunate burden of being a Saints fan since the days of the Dome Patrol in the early 90's. But life has been good as an LSU fan with the Tigers winning two national championships in five years, so I won't complain too loudly. I love watching, writing about and reading about sports, and would love as much feedback and opinions as possible.

15 - Ron Johnson

Writer bio

Ron Johnson
Height: 6'1
Weight: 175
From: St. Louis, Missouri

If there was ever a man who lived to shake up the foundation on "perfection," it is the enigma known as Ron Johnson. For the past two years, Johnson has been rocking the nation with countless submissions that challenge not only the conscience, but also the sports mind. From his censor filled "My Two Cents" to his comical "Dem Apples," Johnson is living proof that no name wannabes can even have their name etched in history.
