About Bleacher Report
Overview
Bleacher Report is the world's largest sports network that is powered entirely by fan-generated content.
Our community of fan-experts creates hundreds of original stories each day, and we publish their work to the millions of people who visit Bleacher Report on a monthly basis. In addition, content created by the Bleacher Report community is used by several major partners, including CBS Sports and Fox Sports.
How does Bleacher Report accomplish all this?
Simply stated, we provide our community of talented writers with the best possible experience. Our publishing platform enables them to create first-rate content, and our wide reach delivers their work to countless sports fanatics across the globe. Thus, for many writers, contributing to Bleacher Report is a superior experience than operating an independent blog.
Those who read Bleacher Report on a daily basis do so because of the breadth and depth of our coverage: we provide more articles than can be found on traditional media sites, and our pieces offer true fan perspectives. What's more, our stories reflect the diversity of opinions and styles that are inherent in our massive writing community. No other sports website exhibits more creative and original content than Bleacher Report.
To those who are visiting Bleacher Report for the first time, we encourage you to explore the site and experience for yourself the unique coverage that we provide.
Bleacher Report launched formally in February 2008, and has grown substantially ever since. Sports media will never be the same.
The Bleacher Report Story
Bleacher Report was founded by a group of lifelong friends who were not satisfied by local coverage of their favorite sports teams.

Bleacher Report Founders Bryan Goldberg, Zander Freund, Dave Finocchio, and Dave Nemetz.
Dave Finocchio, Zander Freund, Bryan Goldberg, and Dave Nemetz started Bleacher Report because they believed that everyday sports experts could provide great opinions and analysis...if only they were given the right platform. The team launched Bleacher Report as a place where talented writers could publish their analysis, and a large audience soon followed.
By September, 2007 the team had become so impressed by Bleacher Report's community of writers that they left their day jobs in order to dedicate themselves to the site full time. By February of the following year, Bleacher Report exited beta, and has since seen a rapid rise in both writer count and readership.
Today, Bleacher Report is the world's largest publisher of exclusively fan-generated sports reporting. Thousands of writers have decided to make the site their preferred platform for sharing opinions. With an audience of millions each month, it's easy to see why.
The company has also bridged new media with some of the largest and most respected leaders in the industry—such as Fox and CBS Sports—both of whom regularly publish content created by Bleacher Report's top writers.
As the company continues to grow, it remains loyal to the founding team's vision. It continues to stake its claim as being the finest place for sportswriters to share their opinions, and there is no better destination for die-hard fans to read up on their favorite teams.
